16 students graduate in Neah Bay Class of 2012

All 16 students of the Neah Bay High School Class of 2012 received diplomas Saturday during the first commencement on the North Olympic Peninsula this season.

Every one of the school’s seniors graduated Saturday — and every one has a letter of acceptance from a college, trade school or the military, Principal Ann Renker has said.

One student was accepted to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, others will attend the University of Washington and Washington State University, and one graduate is joining the Marine Corps, she said.

The Warriors’ valedictorian was Crysandra Sones, and the salutatorian was Courtney Winck.
