Music and movie lovers of all ages are invited to see the 1928 comedy about William “Steamboat Bill” Canfield, captain of a run-down paddle steamer in need of big repairs.

In comes Bill’s college-age son, all of a sudden and after a long separation. Keaton plays him as a pencil-mustached, ukulele-playing dandy, not the hard worker Dad was hoping for.

Away they go, opposites colliding: the spoiled city boy and the burly, strong father.

Miles and Karina provide the musical score for it all in this one-night-only event.

For reservations and more details, phone the Key City Playhouse box office at 360-385-5278 or visit www.keycitypublictheatre.org.
