A Port Angeles woman and her two children were killed in a two-car collision Christmas Day as they headed east toward the Hood Canal Bridge in Jefferson County.
Kathryn L. Jackson, 37, her 11-year-old daughter, Tasia, and an infant son, Kaidan Harris, were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, the State Patrol said Thursday night.
The collision was reported about 3 p.m. on state Highway 104 a half-mile west of Center Road and about 3.5 miles east of U.S. Highway 101.
State Patrol troopers closed a section of the highway link between the Hood Canal Bridge and Highway 101 for about four hours.
Christmas Day traffic was detoured around the scene.
Tani L. McBeth, 33, and her husband, Scott McBeth, 34, of Vancouver, Wash., were injured in the crash.
