PORT ANGELES — State Patrol troopers were seeking a vehicle that struck a pedestrian at U.S. Highway 101 and Larch Road after a collision at 5:52 p.m. today.
Alisha L. Wollum, 25, of Sequim was taken to Olympic Medical Center. Her condition was not available tonight.
The State Patrol said that an unknown vehicle traveling southbound on Larch Avenue, across from Mount Pleasant Road, made a left turn into the eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 101 and struck Wollum.
Troopers said Wollum was crossing Highway 101 from north to south in the crosswalk against the traffic light.
All lanes of the highway were closed for about an hour with a detour in place.
The State Patrol is investigating, and is seeking a description of the vehicle that struck Wollum.
