A 200-pound black bear that wandered onto the University of Colorado campus has been set free west of Boulder.
The bear caused a stir on Thursday as it wandered around a residence hall and then climbed a tree.
Wildlife officers eventually tranquilized the bear, and it dropped from its perch in the tree onto pads placed beneath it on the ground.
The bear landed on its back before a crowd of students, and photographs from the scene quickly made their way around the Internet.
