LA PUSH — Quileute tribal officials are investigating an incident involving a woman who allegedly rammed into Quileute Police Chief Bill Lyon’s car April 11, tribal spokeswoman Jackie Jacobs said Monday.
The woman allegedly hit Lyon’s car during his pursuit of her and tried running over other officers.
“We have no additional information other than this is an ongoing investigation and we must allow the investigative processes to unfold,” Jacobs said in an email. She declined to elaborate.
‘At home, resting’
A tribal officer said last week that Lyon was “just at home, resting” following the incident.
The woman was arrested, a tribal official said.
The officer and the official said they were not authorized to comment on the collision.
