SEQUIM — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will conduct annual training for Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge volunteers April 12.
Fish and Wildlife is seeking volunteers to greet visitors and provide information about the refuge’s trails and wildlife.
Additional opportunities for volunteers include invasive species mitigation, habitat restoration, maintenance, beach clean-up and administration.
Training for new volunteers will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
Refresher training for returning volunteers will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The classes will be held at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.
