EVERETT — Anticipating a large crowd, U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen moved his town hall meeting on health care reform tonight from a meeting hall to a baseball stadium.
The forum moved to Memorial Stadium, where the Everett AquaSox play.
Larsen, D-Everett, whose district stretches from Whidbey Island to the Canadian border north of Bellingham, hosted a similar event in Mount Vernon on Saturday, drawing 600 people — roughly triple the meeting room’s capacity.
Larsen says he’s read the entire 227,000-word health care bill. He says it’s a little longer than “Moby Dick,” and about as dense.
