Applications open for Animal Solutions Advisory Committee

PORT ANGELES — The board of Clallam County Commissioners is seeking applicants to sit on its newly formed Animal Solutions Advisory Committee.

Applications are due by Aug. 26.

The committee will advise the commissioners and the sheriff’s office on matters related to animal control.

Five positions are available, including a veterinarian; a representative of a Clallam County equine rescue organization; a representative of a Clallam County animal rescue organization that accommodates animals other than dogs, cats and horses; and two at-large members.
