PORT ANGELES — The Shore Aquatic Center will offer a junior lifeguard class from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Pre-registration is required for the class, to be taught in the center, 225 E. Fifth St.
The class, for youths from 11- to 15-years, teaches students how to respond to aquatic emergencies.
The class costs $65 per student, scholarships may be available.
