PORT TOWNSEND — Melody Sky Weaver will present “My Great Swedish Adventure: The power of libraries, family, and travel in pandemic” at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The presentation is in the Carnegie Reading Room at the Port Townsend Public Library, 1220 Lawrence St.
Weaver will discuss her appearance on Allt för Sverige, Swedish for The Great Swedish Adventure, during the pandemic.
The reality show brings 10 Americans to Sweden to trace their ancestry and meet living relatives.
Weaver will also discuss the genealogical and linguistic resources that the library has and how they helped her to get cast for the show.
Weaver is the city’s library director.
