BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — The Bainbridge Island to Seattle ferry will be reduced to one-boat service for walk-on passengers only today through Wednesday, Sept. 13.
There will be no service for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles or electric scooters.
The vehicle staging area will be closed to allow Washington State Ferries to replace the overhead pedestrian walkway on Bainbridge Island, a $33 million project.
During the closure, a third vessel will provide additional service on the Kingston-Edmonds route.
The one-boat service from Bainbridge Island to Seattle will leave at 12:55, 4:45, 6:20, 7:55, 9:40, 11:30 a.m., and 1:15, 2:55, 4:45, 6:40, 8:20, 10 and 11:30 p.m. on weekdays. The weekend departure times are 1:25, 5:20, 7:05, 8:45 and 10:25 a.m., and 12:20, 2:10, 3:55, 5:35, 7:15, 8:55 and 10:30 p.m., along with midnight.
