In any disaster, chaos is inevitable.
But people can control some of the chaos by being prepared and having plans for themselves and their families, Port Angeles Fire Chief Dan McKeen said last week.
McKeen, who is also the city’s emergency manager, and Clallam County Emergency Coordinator Joe Ciarlo are using recent attention on homeland security to encourage people to be prepared for terrorist attacks or any other disasters that may occur.
If you are prepared for one, you’re prepared for all, McKeen and Ciarlo say.
