PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office will host a bell-ringing ceremony to honor law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The ceremony, in observance of National Police Week, will be held at Veteran’s Park, 217 S. Lincoln St.
According to a press release, as of March 19 there have been 27 line-of-duty deaths nationwide among U.S. law enforcement officers this year.
