PORT ANGELES — City Council candidate Cody Blevins is suspending his campaign until further notice.
Blevins, 30, who is running against incumbent Cherie Kidd, 65, for the Position 7 seat, said he hopes to decide by Friday on if he will start actively campaigning again or permanently drop out of the race.
“Personal things have popped up, relationship things,” Blevins, 30, said Monday.
“I’d rather keep it private right now,” he continued.
“We’re just suspending things right now, letting things cool off and see where it goes. It’s still my intention to run.”
