PORT TOWNSEND — There will be a Blue Christmas service at 4 p.m. Thursday.
The non-denominational service will be in the parish hall at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1020 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Blue Christmas services are for “those who have suffered a personal loss, like divorce, the death of a loved one, serious illness or job loss, and who may struggle to find joy in this holiday season.
“This service seeks to offer comfort and connection and to honor their feelings,” said the Rev. Craig Vocelka, St. Paul’s interim rector. “Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, please know you are not alone. You are welcome to join us in the Parish Hall.”
