Marine units are currently battling a boat fire in the Puget Sound, northeast of Protection Island.
According to a spokeswoman for East Jefferson Fire-Rescue, the agency’s marine unit is currently engaging the fire in an effort to extinguish the blaze on the 65-foot-long fishing vessel, Kemo Sabay.
Three people have been brought ashore from the boat. One is suffering from burns and has been airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Their names and hometowns are unknown.
