SHINE — Bridge preservation engineers from the state Department of Transportation will begin in-depth inspections of the Hood Canal Bridge on state Highway 104 at 9 a.m. Monday.
Daily inspections will require multiple closures to traffic of up to one hour each time, according to a DOT press release.
The openings are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays from Monday through April 18.
The bridge will be closed to all traffic during the inspections.
Crews will combine the inspections with marine openings as much as possible, DOT said.
