BRINNON — The 12-year-old girl who was shot in the head, allegedly by a 13-year-old boy at the family home, remained in critical condition in a Seattle hospital Monday night.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office officials still aren’t officially releasing the girl’s name.
However, a member of the community relations department at Harborview Medical Center on Monday afternoon provided the girl’s condition when given a name unofficially obtained by Peninsula Daily News but uncorroborated.
Undersheriff Ken Sukert said both parents — who were not home at the time — have been notified of the Friday shooting, which took place in the 200 block of Fulton Creek Road, in the Seamont housing development a few miles south of the main part of Brinnon.
