BRINNON — Bald Eagles outnumbered a group of citizens gathering Saturday to oppose logging at Brinnon’s Pulali Point.
That’s all the more reason for the forest harvesting plan by Boy Scouts of America’s Chief Seattle Council to stop, said Kerie Pedersen, who grew up on the Point.
The Pulali Landowners Association organized sea-based tours, informational displays, self-guided walks and a beach barbecue in the June sun as part of a Pulali Point Jamboree.
“You really have to get out on a boat to experience it,” Pedersen said.
