HAMMA HAMMA — A Brinnon man was killed and his wife was injured in a one-car crash near Hamma Hamma early this morning.
Stanley Johnston, 66, of Brinnon died at the scene, State Patrol said.
His wife, Candis Johnston, 64, who was driving the vehicle, suffered head injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she was in serious condition Sunday afternoon, a nursing supervisor said.

Candis Johnston was driving north on U.S. Highway 101 near Milepost 320.
The 2003 Toyota Highlander left the roadway to the right just before the Hamma Hamma bridge and struck a tree.
