BRINNON — A Brinnon driver avoided injury when her vehicle left U.S. Highway 101 and landed on a beach.
The State Patrol reports that Katheryn A. Mueller, 71, was driving south on Highway 101 near Brinnon Friday when her 2014 Chevy Traverse crossed the center line and northbound lane before driving off a small bluff and onto a beach.
Mueller was uninjured in the crash at milepost 306 at 1:20 p.m. It was not known if she was wearing a seat belt.
The State Patrol said that the cause of the wreck and any possible charges are under investigation. Alcohol or drugs were not involved in the incident.
The vehicle was impounded by All City Towing.
