PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for a Port Angeles man suspected of taking jewelry and tools from a Joyce-area residence within the past few days.
Aaron Scott Markishtum, 30, is wanted for investigation of first-degree burglary for his alleged involvement in at least one of four recent burglaries off state Highway 112 west of Port Angeles, Sgt. John Keegan said.
Markishtum is described as 6-foot-7, 220 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
He has ties to the Makah and Lower Elwha Klallam reservations, Keegan said.
Keegan would not say exactly when or where the Joyce-area burglary occurred.
“We’ve had at least four,” he said. “Three of them were this weekend.”
Anyone with information about Markishtum’s whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
