BUSINESS BRIEFS: New automotive service now open in Sequim . . . and other items

SEQUIM — Integrity Automotive, 81 Hooker Road, Suite 1, opened for business servicing foreign and domestic autos last month.

Owners Alex Walberg and Evan Stamp have a combined 25 years of experience, both have taken the Automotive Service Excellence test to become ASE-certified diagnostic specialists and also are custom and performance specialists.

The business is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and on Saturdays by appointment.

PORT ANGELES — Three Allstate agencies will present an informational seminar on Social Security at the Elwha Klallam Heritage Center, 401 E. First St., at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.

The Matt Elwood and Craig Brown agencies in Port Angeles and the Bill Bailey agency in Sequim, together with Paul J. Stevick, a certified financial planner with Allstate Life and Retirement, are the sponsors.

The seminar offers an opportunity to learn the basics of the program that will affect retirees. It is designed for people nearing retirement.

There is no cost for attending, and free information will be available.

Light snacks will be served.

PORT LUDLOW — The Resort at Port Ludlow has been named a Gold Medal Accommodation in the spring 2015 Touring and Tasting section of Pacific Northwest magazine.

The Resort at Port Ludlow is one of only 10 resorts, inns and hotels in wine country or gateway to wine country markets located in the Pacific Northwest to have received this Gold Medal Accommodation status, according to a news release.
