PORT ANGELES — Matt and Stephanie Wilson have bought Dragonrail game store, located at 803 E. First St.
The Wilsons said in a news release they remain committed to the existing gaming community that has supported Dragonrail since its opening in 2006.
Original owner Becky Northaven plans to expand her sheep-herding lesson business as well as increase her vendor presence at Society for Creative Anachronism events.
Dragonrail caters to children and adults of all ages and provides family friendly games and a place to play.
The store offers Magic: the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Universal Fighting System, Pokemon, Warhammer 40K, Dungeons and Dragons, hobby supplies and more.

Laurel Place event
PORT ANGELES — A grand reopening event will be held at Laurel Place, a senior living community located at 1133 S. Park Ave., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12.
The luau-themed party will boast Hawaii-inspired appetizers and “mocktails.”
The public is invited to take a tour of the facility and see the recent changes that have been made.
There also will be door prizes, a blood pressure clinic, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a summer heat safety clinic.

Nourish celebrates
SEQUIM — Nourish at 1345 S. Sequim Ave.will celebrate Independence Day and its first anniversary with several weekend events.
A barbecue with live music is planned from noon to 6 p.m. today.
From noon to 2 p.m., Howly Slim and Sandy will perform. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Jason and Friends’ Jazz Jam will play.
On Saturday, botanical watercolorist Iris Edey will be present, while herbalist Marty Martin will host a tea tasting from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A flight of teas will be $5.
On Sunday, Nourish will have a brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a barbecue following from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Live music at the barbecue will be provided by Nakaii, Mike and Erma.
