PORT ANGELES — First Street Haven, a downtown restaurant located at 107 E. First St., has finished remodeling its dining area and is reopening for business Saturday.
The Haven has been operating in the city for more than 30 years and has been under the ownership of Michael and Karissa French for the past seven years, according to a news release.
The renovation includes minor structural changes, such as new paint and lighting, and an overall new style crafted by local designer Marilyn Lamb.
The menu will remain consistent.
The restaurant’s hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, serving breakfast all day.

SEQUIM — Estes Builders recently sent eight employees to the 2015 International Builder’s Show in Las Vegas.
The event is the housing industry’s largest annual trade show and exhibition, hosting more than 125,000 industry members.
