THIS WEEK’S BUSINESSmeeting in Clallam and Jefferson counties (all are open to the public):
■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
This Monday’s featured speaker will be Port Angeles Schools Superintendent Jane Pryne, making her final presentation to the chamber before she retires next month.
Also, announcement of the May Business of the Month and Beautification Award will be made.
Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier. For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s meeting will feature the Port Townsend High School/Northwest Maritime Center Robotics Team’s 2014 robot, “Buster.” Team members will discuss the experiences they had during their inaugural year in robotics competitions.
Sponsor of Monday’s meeting is The Resort at Port Ludlow.
Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway.
■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s meeting will be devoted to a discussion of local business issues.
Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s meeting focuses on aquatic sports with Randy Volker, Port Angeles Yacht Club; Vicki Adams Heckman, Sound Bike & Kayak; Ian Raphael, founding member of the high school sailing club; and others still to be arranged.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
