PORT LUDLOW — The Department of Transportation will divert traffic at Shine Creek on state Highway 104 onto a temporary bypass bridge beginning at 1 a.m. Saturday.
The two-lane bypass route will allow contractor crews to replace a culvert under the highway with a new structure that will enhance fish passage, according to a DOT press release.
The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph between mileposts 10.14 and 10.52 while the bypass route is in use.
The bypass route will be in use until early October.
