Tall ships arrive in PA today
PORT ANGELES — The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are expected to sail into Port Angeles, firing a cannon salute before they dock at City Pier before noon today.
The ships will offer sails and tours and be part of the harbor scenery in both Port Angeles and Port Townsend through the first two weeks of September.
At least one of the tall ships will be docked in Port Angeles until Monday, Sept. 13, and the Lady Washington will be in Port Townsend during the Wooden Boat Festival, which is Sept. 10-12.
