SEQUIM — Olympic National Forest has three cabins available to rent.
The Forest Service says the cabins make ideal base camps for various adventures on the North Olympic Peninsula.
The Hamma Hamma and Interrorem cabins are near Hoodsport.
The Louella Cabin is near Sequim.
During the Great Depression, the Hamma Hamma Cabin was constructed as an administration building for Forest Service fire and trail crews.
Interrorem Cabin was built in 1907 as the forest’s first administration building.
The Louella Cabin was built as a guard station in 1912.
The Hamma Hamma and Louella cabins have room for six people.
The Interrorem Cabin sleeps four.
The cabins range in price from $50 to $60 per night.
