BRINNON — The North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum during its third Quilcene-Brinnon Connections meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be at the Camp Parsons Boy Scout Camp, 970 Bee Mill Road.
The non-partisan candidate forum will feature pre-selected questions for the candidates from a moderator followed by a moderated Q&A session.
The forum will finish with a 30-minute social session for informal conversation.
The event organizers have invited candidates for Jefferson County commissioner, Heather Dudley-Nollette and Ben Thomas; candidates for state Senate, Mike Chapman and Marcia Kelbon; and candidates for two state House of Representatives positions, Matt Roberson and Adam Bernbaum, and Terry Roberts and Steve Tharinger.
The Quilcene-Brinnon Connections meetings are open to the public. There is no virtual attendance option as the promotion of face-to-face communication is part of the chamber’s goals for the meeting series.
