Rescue workers pull an injured woman who drove her Toyota Land Cruiser down a 60-foot

Car goes off highway exit embankment in Sequim

SEQUIM — An unidentified woman has been taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles after her car went down an embankment off the Sequim Avenue exit to U.S. Highway 101 this afternoon.

Rescue workers pulled the Toyota Land Cruiser up a 60-foot, blackberry-covered hill.

The woman, who was not identified by State Patrol troopers at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Her condition has not been reported.
