CARLSBORG — A man shot by Clallam County sheriff’s deputies after reportedly firing a shotgun at them was upgraded from critical to serious condition Saturday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The Sheriff’s Department has tentatively identified the man as Chris Elliott.
Capt. Steve Snover said the identification was based on information provided by other residents of the house where the shooting took place Friday night.
Elliott’s mother, who lives in Sequim, verified that her 38-year-old son named Chris, lived at the residence.
