CARLSBORG — The Washington State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the sheriff’s patrol car crash that injured a 28-year-old woman last Friday.
Michelle L. Pettit of Port Orchard remained in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, hospital officials said Wednesday.
Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Yarnes, 48, and Pettit’s two children, passengers in her car at the time of the crash, were not injured.
Undersheriff Joe Martin said the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department is still awaiting results of a State Patrol inquiry into the crash.
