CARLSBORG — It’s official: Sunny Farms Country Store’s sign is a Carlsborg community landmark.

So determined Clallam County Hearings Examiner Ted Hunter on Monday when he granted a county sign code variance for the store.

Sunny Farms has been at its Carlsborg location at 261461 Highway 101 since 1979, when the 19.5-foot sign was erected.

The rustic brown wooden sign with a Styrofoam cornucopia advertises store specials near its base.
