Chimacum native graduates Texas Tech University

LUBBOCK, Texas — Chimacum native Colton Shaw graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas on May 18.

Shaw earned a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering.

Shaw is a 2015 graduate of Chimacum High School.

He has accepted a position in Midland, Texas with the Apache Corporation.

Shaw received scholarship support from the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, the Port Townsend Kiwanis Club, East Jefferson Little League, Brad Brown Scholarship Fund, Chimacum Alumni Association and the Bremerton Scottish Rites.
