CHIMACUM — There will be a robotics fair from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
The fair will be held at the Chimacum School District, 91 West Valley Road.
The fair, for first- through fifth-grade students, is part of National Robotics Week, April 6-14.
Students will have three types of competition: First Lego League, a robot demonstration and Robotics 101.
The First Lego League competition is for older (fourth- through eighth-grade) students who have access to EV3 robots and Into Orbit mats.
In the robot demonstration, students can showcase the tasks they have programmed their robots to perform.
Robotics 101 turns the student into the teacher as competitors present mini-lessons on a robotics topic.
