PORT ANGELES — The circus is coming to town on Sunday.
A three-ring Shrine Circus plans two shows at the Port Angeles Speedway, The speedway is at 231 Octane Lane, off U.S. Highway 101 east of Port Angeles.
The shows at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. will feature a seven-person high wire pyramid and a five-person motorcycle “Globe of Death,” as well as the usual circus entertainment of elephants, acrobats, jugglers and clowns.
Tickets will go on sale one hour before show time at the door.
All seats are first come, first served.
Tickets will cost $22 for adults and $16 for teenagers from 13 to 17 years old.
With a coupon, children from 3 to 12 years old, who ordinarily would be charged $10, will be admitted free. Children under 3 years old will be admitted free.
All military personnel with identification will be given a 20 percent discount off the price of admission.
