SEQUIM — The Sequim City Council is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the city’s Planning Commission.
The four-year term expires during January 2020 and must be filled by a resident within the city.
The commission convenes the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. to serve as the city council’s advisory body on policies, regulations and capital spending related to growth and development.
The commission might also conduct proceedings on specific land use applications, such as divisions.

Applications must be submitted to the city clerk’s office in city hall.
