The Washington State Patrol responded to 17 weather-related vehicular crashes Saturday and Saturday night, but only two minor injuries were reported around Clallam County.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Glen Tyrrell said snowy and icy road conditions caused some collisions, but nothing serious. Most were one-car crashes in which vehicles slid off the road, he said.
The patrol responded to no weather-related crashes in Jefferson County, he said.
“It was out of the ordinary as a routine, but not out of the ordinary for the weather we had,”‘ Tyrrell said.
