CLALLAM BAY — An officer at Clallam Bay Corrections Center has been temporarily restricted from armed posts after having a letter published in the PDN criticizing an upcoming Father’s Day program at the prison.
In a memo to Correctional Officer Lisa Ross dated April 25, prison Superintendent Sandra Carter said some of Ross’ statements in her letter to the editor indicate Ross does not understand the Department of Corrections’ Use of Lethal Force policy.
The memo was sent the same day Ross’ letter was published on the Commentary Page.
