Corrections Deputy Alicia Newhouse was promoted to corrections sergeant.
PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Corrections Sgt. Don Wenzl was promoted to chief corrections deputy, and Corrections Deputy Alicia Newhouse was promoted to corrections sergeant in a Aug. 2 ceremony at the county’s emergency operations center.
Wenzl will replace Wendy Peterson, who retired in July after 37 years of service with the sheriff’s office.
Newhouse is being promoted to fill the position vacated by Wenzl.
