Detachments III and IV are situated in the most northwestern corner of the county. Together, the two detachments cover more than half of Clallam County and provide services to six communities and more than 10,000 residents.

Largely forested and unpopulated, the West End is the largest area to patrol geographically. The West End deputies investigate and respond to calls in both detachments.
