PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Historical Society’s History Tales presentations will resume with a talk about places that no longer exist in Clallam County on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The free presentation by Jack Zaccardo will be at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Seventh St.
In the parlor
The program will be in the parlor directly across from the church office.
Entry will be from the parking lot on the east side of the building.
Old Clallam County maps show names of towns that used to dot the landscape — Disque, Rena and Bucyrus, to name a few — towns that have disappeared.
Photos of towns
Zaccardo will show photos and talk about towns or places that no longer exist, such as Ozette, Sappho and Port Crescent.
Zaccardo, retired from the state Department of Natural Resources, is originally from Port Angeles and is a fourth-generation timber worker.
