Filing for the fall elections ended Friday with 116 candidates seeking offices ranging from city council positions to fire protection districts.
In most of the races, there are only one or two candidates; they will bypass the Sept. 18 primary and go directly to the Nov. 6 general election ballot.
Only one candidate filed in each of the three Sequim City Council races and for county auditor.
A second filing period will open this Wednesday through Friday for six positions that attracted no candidates.
