TACOMA — The 22-year-old former Lower Elwha Klallam reservation resident accused of killing an 18-year-old Port Angeles man has pleaded guilty.
Christopher Paul Hawk will be sentenced Jan. 4 for second-degree murder by U.S. District Court Judge Robert J. Bryan in Tacoma, Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney Lawrence Lincoln said.
Hawk faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine, Lincoln said.
The murder occurred in the early morning hours of March 17 while Hawk and three other men were at a party at 83 Sea Wind Drive on the reservation, court documents show.
