Clallam Jefferson Transit buses running on snow schedules

Both Clallam Transit and Jefferson Transit are running today but on revised snow schedules.

Clallam Transit continues to operate all buses today but with the following changes:

■ No. 10 Joyce bus will turn around at the intersection of state Highway 112 and Lyre River Road.

■ No. 14 Forks bus will not be routed by Peninsula College in the afternoon.

■ No. 20 College-Medical Center bus is running only hourly, departing The Gateway transit center at 55 minutes after the hour in the morning and at five minutes after the hour in the afternoon.

There is no service to Melody Lane and once the bus reaches Peninsula College there is no service along Ennis Street.

Instead the bus will backtrack to Race Street and then to First Street to resume route.

■ No. 22 Lincoln-Peabody bus is running only hourly, leaving The Gateway transit center at 55 minutes after the hour in the morning and at five minutes after the hour in the afternoon.

There is no service above Park Street (along the Alhvers Loop) and no service on Whidby/Eunice Loop.

■ No. 24 Cherry Hill bus and No. 26 Westside bus are running only hourly, leaving The Gateway transit center at 55 minutes after the hour in the morning and at five minutes after the hour in the afternoon.

The Westside bus will make no trips to the Lower Elwha Klallam reservation as the bus will turnaround at Dry Creek School.

■ No. 52 Diamond Point bus will provide no service to the beach since the bus will turn around on the top of the hill at the airport.

■ Dial-A-Ride service in Sequim will be limited.

■ Paratransit services will be limited. On Wednesday, medical necessity trips will be scheduled.

Passengers can expect occasional delays due to road conditions.

Jefferson Transit announced that all Port Townsend routes are on snow plans today.

The affected routes are No. 2 Mountain View Connector, No. 3 Castle Hill Connector and the No. 11 shuttle.

Twelfth Street is inaccessible and all buses, including those out of town, are being re-routed from Sheridan to 19th, then from 19th to Landes and then to the Park & Ride.

The No. 6 Tri Area Loop A & B also are on snow routing until further notice.
