THE NORTH OLYMPIC Peninsula’s primary election voter guide will debut in the Peninsula Daily News on Friday to coincide with this week’s distribution of ballots for the Aug. 17 election.
The Primary Election Guide, produced by the PDN, features question-and-answer interviews with all primary candidates for local and countywide office, as well as their photos, biographical synopses and a summary of the job each candidate seeks.
Associated Press overviews on the U.S. Senate and state Supreme Court races on the ballot also are featured.
As in the past, there is no advertising in the special section, which is produced as a public service by the PDN.
In addition to its inclusion in the PDN on Friday, the magazine-style guide will be available free of charge until Election Day at PDN offices, county courthouses, libraries and other public contact points.
An e-version of the Primary Election Guide will be posted on the PDN’s website, www.peninsuladailynews.com.
