Jim Cammack, founder of Jim’s Pharmacy in Port Angeles, was appointed to the board of commissioners of Olympic Medical Center on Wednesday night.
The vote of the six seated board members was unanimous.
Cammack, 58, who is semiretired, succeeds Connie Lawrence who resigned at the end of the year after 18 years on the board. The position represents the geographical area west of Port Angeles to Lake Crescent. It will be on the ballot this fall.
Also applying for the position were Rhonda Carell, John Borah, Steve Nordwell and Suzanne Hayden.
