PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1’s 2003 budget includes no increases in electricity rates, barring “unforeseen” increases by the Bonneville Power Administration.
That’s the good news that PUD Treasurer Shelley Burgett told the utility’s commissioners at their Monday meeting.
The utility’s board of commissioners unanimously approved its 2003 budget, which includes a projected ending balance of $13.35 million, down from a beginning balance of $15 million.
The $58.1 million budget foresees $37.5 million in electricity sales revenue, $1 million in other operating income, $2 million from the revenue bond fund, a $1.1 million transfer from the reserve fund, and $1.5 million in other income.
